Kundalini Yoga

Classes include the use of Kriyas (a set of movements specifically designed to bring about a certain effect), breathwork, mantra (chanting), mudra (hand positions), meditations, and sound healing with the Gong. This type of yoga is known as the ‘yoga of awareness because regular practice will bring you to a knowledge and connection with your true self—the Truth of who you are apart from all of the ways of being you have taken on due to cultural programming and the human experiences that have created your personality. This yoga is accessible to everyone, no matter the physical limitations or age of the practitioner. It works directly on the nervous and glandular systems, helping with anxiety, depression, sleep problems, trauma, and spiritual malady.
